Senior Scientist/Study Director Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Scientist/Study Director to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and report on the results of studies, discuss conclusions and present at various internal and external forums;
- Develop and train in-house staff for animal studies;
- Provide hands-on technical execution of in vivo and in vitro studies;
- Develop, approve, and distribute study-related documents and other study tools;
- Performing in vivo imaging sessions and subsequent data analysis;
- Contribute scientific expertise in oncology to project teams.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of immuno-oncology is advantageous;
- In vitro, in vivo and ex vivo experience with demonstrated proficiency in a range of techniques;
- BSc in a life science discipline is essential, MSc or higher is desirable;
- Hold a Home Office Personal Licence;
- Demonstrated ability to work within multidisciplinary teams;
- Proven experience in drug discovery or translational research gained in an academic or preferably industrial setting.
