Our company is looking for a Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Mechanical building services design/feasibility and scheme design reports;
- Fit out and refurbishment strategy and design;
- Undertake property surveys;
- Produce due diligence deports (acquisition/dilapidations/development);
- Energy, maintenance & development strategies;
- Energy audits and management;
- Life Cycle Costing;
- Provide expert advice in the field of building services.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a mechanical design engineer within the building services industry;
- Show ambition and the desire to work in the industry;
- Good knowledge of UK regulations and legislation;
- At least three years experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, within the building services industry;
- Good knowledge AutoCAD;
- Experience with Revit & IES Modelling advantageous;
- Will have an accredited Building Services / Mechanical Engineering degree or higher educational qualification;
- Degree or relevant equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services;
- Degree in building services or mechanical engineering;
- Proven knowledge and understanding of current technical standards;
- Degree qualified in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering and at least two years’ experience in a similar role;
- Good knowledge of a variety of design software;
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time;
- You will also need to show ambition and a willingness to learn whilst demonstrating a high-level diligence and organisational skill;
- Able to use AutoCAD or Revit and IES or Hevacomp.
