Our company is looking for a Modifications Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Identification of technical risks to timely completion of modifications;
  • Need to communicate effectively across all three sites,
  • Be required to initiate, receive, collate and manage the reports from adjacent sites for the modifications that impact main site;
  • Effective liaison with the adjacent sites facility liaison personnel;
  • Management of the quarterly Adjacent Facilities communication meeting;
  • Delivery of Adjacent Facilities training at the main site as and when required;
  • Work with stakeholders across all three sites to support delivery of the objective of reporting the status of the modifications;
  • Maintenance of a tracker to clearly and concisely report on the status of modifications to the Head of Site Nuclear Compliance;
  • Be based at main site, however will be required to attend meetings at adjacent sites;
  • Facilitating timely production, review and acceptance of cross-site modifications.

Requirements:

  • Strong organisational capability;
  • Knowledge of risk management and recording project risks and their associated mitigation strategies;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Knowledge of the modifications process, the nuclear safety case and working on Magnox and Nuclear Generation licensed sites;
  • An Engineering or Science degree and experience of the nuclear industry is not essential, but would be preferable given the demand of the role;
  • An ability to solve problems with a drive and enthusiasm to see out a result to a successful conclusion.
