Modifications Coordinator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Modifications Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Identification of technical risks to timely completion of modifications;
- Need to communicate effectively across all three sites,
- Be required to initiate, receive, collate and manage the reports from adjacent sites for the modifications that impact main site;
- Effective liaison with the adjacent sites facility liaison personnel;
- Management of the quarterly Adjacent Facilities communication meeting;
- Delivery of Adjacent Facilities training at the main site as and when required;
- Work with stakeholders across all three sites to support delivery of the objective of reporting the status of the modifications;
- Maintenance of a tracker to clearly and concisely report on the status of modifications to the Head of Site Nuclear Compliance;
- Be based at main site, however will be required to attend meetings at adjacent sites;
- Facilitating timely production, review and acceptance of cross-site modifications.
Requirements:
- Strong organisational capability;
- Knowledge of risk management and recording project risks and their associated mitigation strategies;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Knowledge of the modifications process, the nuclear safety case and working on Magnox and Nuclear Generation licensed sites;
- An Engineering or Science degree and experience of the nuclear industry is not essential, but would be preferable given the demand of the role;
- An ability to solve problems with a drive and enthusiasm to see out a result to a successful conclusion.
