Trainee Financial Planner Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Trainee Financial Planner to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to work efficiently under own initiative with impeccable attention to detail;
- Assisting clients to make informed decisions and educate them on UNIQ’s Financial Planning and Investment Philosophy;
- Contacting third parties and providers to gather detailed information;
- Liaise with financial services providers to keep up to date on solutions in the market place;
- Preparation of new and existing client Cashflows ready for Cashflow meetings and Annual Strategy meetings;
- Analyse information and present Financial Plans best suited to individual clients’ requirements;
- Receiving instructions from meeting notes/tasks from Financial Planners following client meetings;
- Generating and accurately saving research undertaken in a structured and consistent format;
- Assess client’s attitude to risk and capacity for loss using the Company’s risk assessment tool of choice;
- To conduct in-depth reviews of clients’ financial circumstances, current provision and future aims based on their changing needs and circumstances;
- Writing Suitability Letters and Financial Planning reports that are accurate, personalised and match the client’s objectives;
- Designing financial strategies;
- Carrying out all tasks in a manner consistent with regulatory and internal compliance procedures.
Requirements:
- Our Trainee Financial Planner will be at least Diploma/Dip PFS qualified;
- You will have experience as a Paraplanner or as a Financial Adviser,
- You will be a quick learner, have excellent communication skills and pride yourself on your relationships with your clients.
