Our company is looking for a IT Support Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure maximum availability of all voice and data systems throughout the company;
  • Ensure the IT Systems are secure and robust at all times;
  • To ensure all Live & Test data is processed and administered as per internal / external customer requirements;
  • Receiving, logging and managing calls from users & clients via telephone and email;
  • To ensure Production have all files required to meet customer SLAs;
  • Query and Update SQL Database;
  • Observing and promoting information security protocols;
  • Ensuring we exceed service level targets and meet deadlines;
  • Support customers with the Application and provide support/training when required;
  • Windows clients and servers (physical and virtual);
  • Tracking issues through to resolution;
  • Keep up to date with training and new updates to the application;
  • Respond appropriately and deal with incidents, service requests, queries and complaints in a timely manner;
  • Documentation and retention of all the processes and procedures for given tasks/projects;
  • Test Bed Devices and machines (INCA / CAMEO / INDICOM etc).

Requirements:

  • Active Directory;
  • IT Production background preferably;
  • Knowledge of Smartcard Handling machines (CIS) would be very useful;
  • VEEAM backup;
  • Fault analysis;
  • Excellent organisational skills;
  • Experience using SCCM;
  • Office 365 maintenance and management;
  • Microsoft operating system Server/Client, servicing/maintenance and troubleshooting;
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a commercial IT support role;
  • MS Office suite support;
  • Able to work to ITIL best practises;
  • Access to funded fitness events and health checks;
  • Ability to highlight best practices internally and for customers;
  • Excellent communication skills to help troublshoot end user queries (hardware/software – 1st/2nd line).
