Technical Administrator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Technical Administrator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining of customer portal systems;
- Assisting with identification of stock and non-stock consumables items on customer BOMs;
- Importing of completed and verified BOMs into Epicor system;
- Assisting with the assessment and improvement of current automated component matching systems;
- Verifying customer BOM conversion pre-import;
- Co-ordinate dispatch, delivery, invoicing and other operational activities;
- Log technical enquiries on to system;
- Maintain the register of manuals;
- Delivery of training to internal employees on quality standards and hygiene;
- Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and to be a great team player;
- Management of various spreadsheets (e.g. those denoting statuses of projects, training, review responses and actions);
- Ensure that all customer queries received are handled within twenty-four hours;
- Providing excellent customer service at all times;
- Completing necessary documentation for exporting including custom declarations;
- Processing sales orders for existing and new customers.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate an area of technical specialism such as networking, messaging, CRM, Virtualisation, Telephony etc;
- Experience of working effectively within a team and ability to work to own initiative;
- In depth knowledge of NRSWA and TMA primary legislation including all relevant supporting codes of practice;
- Experience of working with Cadent IT systems SAP, EToN and Click;
- Competent at producing technical drawings including process maps with Visio software;
- Ability to read and interpret customer drawings and schematics;
- Must be able to gain Security Clearance;
- Proven experience of providing administrative support for operational teams in a pressurised environment;
- GCSE in English, Maths and IT;
- Knowledge of Citrix 7.x and (or) Netscaler (ADC) desirable;
- Professional attitude;
- Evidence of maintaining productive relationships with key stakeholders internal and external including Highway Authorities and Contractor Partners;
- A friendly and approachable working manner;
- Process-driven way of working with good technical mind;
- Happy to work in a small and close-knit team.
