Our company is looking for a Apprentices/Trainees to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide (under supervision) all aspects of care for children including washing, changing and feeding;
- Strive to safeguard children by working to the company’s safeguarding Policy;
- Uphold standards within the Setting by adhering to all policies and procedures;
- Assist with meeting the personal and emotional needs of individual children;
- Provide adult interaction with children in the nursery;
- Know and implement the company confidentiality policy;
- To comply with all the company’s policies and procedures, with specific reference to Safeguarding;
- To liaise with mentor;
- To complete all assignments set;
- working as part of a team;
- To work with children;
- Attend training as required.
Requirements:
- A Science GCSE C Grade or above;
- A positive approach to completing relevant courses and qualifications;
- Some understanding of the importance of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene in the workplace;
- An interest in the care, learning and development of young children;
- Previous experience of caring for, or working with children in a voluntary or paid capacity;
- Enthusiasm for working with young children;
- A minimum of Maths & English GCSE C Grade (or to be attained within an agreed time frame);
- A positive approach to learning and gaining new skills through teamwork and training opportunities.
