IT Apprentice Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a IT Apprentice to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting staff with any logged IT related incident when called upon;
- Diagnosing and resolving software and hardware incidents, including operating systems. (Windows and Mac) and across a range of software applications;
- Organising delivery and return of IT equipment;
- Ensure IT classroom and work areas maintained to high standards;
- Participate in project work in relation to IT service improvements Interviews will be held on Tuesday 3 March;
- Answering phone and dealing with face-to-face IT helpdesk enquiries Logging and resolving incidents on the helpdesk management system;
- Prepare and maintain routine IT equipment for use;
- Running daily back-ups;
- Maintaining existing IT equipment;
- Installing new IT equipment;
- Learning how to use a range of IT support tools;
- Installing new software;
- Fixing general IT issues for the companies customers;
- Updating operating systems;
- Supporting all school internal IT infrastructure.

- Microsoft MTA Mobility & Devices Fundamentals;

- BCS Business Processes;
- Fault finding and diagnostic skills;
- Good working knowledge of computers and software;
