Our company is looking for a IT Apprentice to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting staff with any logged IT related incident when called upon;
  • Diagnosing and resolving software and hardware incidents, including operating systems. (Windows and Mac) and across a range of software applications;
  • Organising delivery and return of IT equipment;
  • Ensure IT classroom and work areas maintained to high standards;
  • Participate in project work in relation to IT service improvements Interviews will be held on Tuesday 3 March;
  • Answering phone and dealing with face-to-face IT helpdesk enquiries Logging and resolving incidents on the helpdesk management system;
  • Prepare and maintain routine IT equipment for use;
  • Running daily back-ups;
  • Maintaining existing IT equipment;
  • Installing new IT equipment;
  • Learning how to use a range of IT support tools;
  • Installing new software;
  • Fixing general IT issues for the companies customers;
  • Updating operating systems;
  • Supporting all school internal IT infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Microsoft MTA Mobility & Devices Fundamentals;
  • Microsoft MTA Server Fundamentals;
  • Microsoft MTA Networking Fundamentals;
  • Microsoft MTA Software Development Fundamentals;
  • BCS Business Processes;
  • Fault finding and diagnostic skills;
  • Good working knowledge of computers and software;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills;
  • Approachable;
  • Able to work independently and in a team;
  • Friendly;
  • Outgoing;
  • Hardworking;
  • Active interest in IT.
