Commercial Plumber Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Commercial Plumber to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Managing priorities within contract constraints;
- Provision of job feedback information to help desk and senior engineer;
- Working to Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance regimes;
- Be aware of the business continuity plan for the part of the business you work in;
- The repair and servicing of mechanical & electrical (M&E) equipment, PPM & reactive;
- The repair and maintenance of building fabric;
- Providing information for the pricing of M&E works where applicable, for minor projects and maintenance;
- Working within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve set goals;
- HSE management in accordance with our quality management system and all legal and statutory requirements;
- Responding to customer needs and building relationships in a professional manner;
- Installing and commissioning new plant and equipment;
- Participation in standby rota for emergency calls outside normal working hours.
Requirements:
- City & Guilds plumbing;
- Good problem-solving skills and a creative approach for new ideas / solutions;
- Working knowledge of the maintenance of emergency lighting, boiler plant, AHU’s and pressurisation units;
- Excellent team player;
- Previous experience in the mechanical maintenance field;
- Time served Mechanical maintenance engineer;
- Plumbing experience;
- Domestic / commercial gas qualifications (Desirable but not essential);
- A high level of technical knowledge and the ability to apply this knowledge to practical problems;
- Experience of building services, lone working and good communication skills;
- F Gas Qualifications (preferred).
