Responsibilities:
- Strive to maintain positive working relationships across the team;
- Work in partnership with Vocational Coaches to support effective delivery to learners;
- Delivering Functional Skills training in line with industry requirements;
- Manage and maintain learner online portfolios;
- Understand and adhere to safeguarding, health & safety, equality and diversity regulations;
- Manage a caseload of SEN and Functional Skills learners to ensure they have the appropriate support to complete all qualification;
- Assist in the development of training content across all standards;
- Maintain a flexible approach to support your team and the wider business;
- Visiting learners in the workplace, carrying out high quality assessments and reviews.
Requirements:
- Working with vulnerable students;
- Working with a caseload of students;
- Setting goals and monitor development;
- Assist in the development of training content across all standards;
- Maintain a flexible approach to support your team and the wider business;
- Experience in working with learners with mental ill health and or Special Education Needs and Disabilities;
- Level 4 Information, Advice and Guidence;
- Visiting learners in the workplace, carrying out high quality assessments and reviews;
- Full driving licence (mandatory);
- Working knowledge of supporting ALS and Functional Skills learners;
- Strive to maintain positive working relationships across the team;
- Competent in the use and purpose of technology with strong IT skills in Microsoft office, learner management systems and Virtual learning environments;
- Level 2 English and maths;
- Positive influencing;
- Ability to manage targets and deadlines.
