Our company is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Mechanical repair and maintenance of all plant and machinery;
- Use handheld technology within allocated timescales;
- As part of the role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota from time-to-time;
- Complete plumbing and air handling maintenance;
- Good communication skills (written & verbal);
- Maintenance inspections and rectifications;
- Installation of air-conditioning equipment, heating and ventilation systems;
- A positive and proactive approach with a can do attitude;
- Perform routine maintenance of mechanical systems in commercial buildings;
- Complete general FM duties as and when required;
- Worked within an Industrial Environment;
- PPM’s (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and project work;
- Responsible for maintaining production machinery and hydraulic and pneumatic systems;
- Ensuring the highest standards of workmanship with regard to the maintenance and presentation of rides;
- There will be a requirement of some local offsite working on a pre-arranged or out of hours callout basis.
Requirements:
- Worked within an Industrial Environment;
- A positive and proactive approach with a can do attitude;
- Problem solving skills;

- Calibrated tools;
- Knowledge of pumps pipe work and boiler systems;
- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS);
- Valid/clean drivers’ licence;
- Uniform;
- Assisting in continuous improvement;
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
- Experience working with air conditioning systems and pumps;
- Relevant Mechanical Engineering qualification.
