Building Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Building Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- On-boarding and exiting of tenants;
- Assisting with local agent on maximising sales;
- Ensuring that the reception, laundries, foyer, surrounding ground areas and car park comply with safe working practices;
- Ensuring Health and Safety regulations are adhered to;
- Facilitate the management of regular and “on departure” flat checks;
- Management of site budgets and reduction of costs;
- Ensuring rent payments are received from tenants and recovering arrears where appropriate including writing to and visiting tenants as required;
- Investigate complaints, persistent or serious breaches of the tenancy agreement, behavioural matters and damage;
- Taking the building through its first year of mobilisation in terms of defects.
Requirements:
- National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health – accredited by NEBOSH;
- Membership or Associate Membership of BIFM;
- Member of a relevant professional body;
- Degree or equivalent;
- Membership or Associate Membership of IOSH.
