Head of Product Operations Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Head of Product Operations to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring full compliance with customer guidelines and consumer legislation, keeping up to date with all regulatory and compliance matters;
- Monitor Customer Satisfaction across all areas and provide recommendations for change across Product and Operations;
- Execute tour itinerary measured against set KPI’s and lead tour product maintenance and improvement;
- Utilise software and business metrics to make informed decisions and drive performance level of both service and revenue/cost;
- Structure and develop a motivated and engaged team through hands-on leadership, identifying training needs and managing performance;
- Develop a continuous improvement plan, streamlining processes and procedures to increase delivery speed and improve productivity;
- Develop, maintain and oversee a Crisis Response Plan to deal with extreme emergencies and oversee operational response.
Requirements:
- Excellent Quality Assessing and Management skills;
- Understanding of the importance of business metrics and how they inform a business decisions and people management;
- In-depth travel industry knowledge and experience gained from an Operational role;
- A strong understanding of compliance, what it requires, ramifications and risks involved;

- The ability to replicate Operational matters with teams in different locations;
- Experience with Open Destinations software desirable;
- Significant experience in a senior Operational role (preferably 10+ years).
