Our company is looking for a Nursery Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and training of staff;
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the nursery and meet occupancy and financial objectives;
- Be responsible for recruitment, management, training and discipline of nursery staff;
- To effectively manage the occupancy levels/ ratios;
- To manage all day to day operations of the centre;
- Marketing the nursery, arranging leaflet drops, open days etc;
- Leading, motivating and managing the staff team effectively;
- Leading and being responsible for the development of the nursery staff;
- Managing Staff Rotas and meetings;
- Building strong relationships with the children, parents, staff, outside agencies and wider community;
- providing regular reports to governors;
- To lead team effectively by example;
- managing budget in conjunction with school Bursar;
- forging close links with the wider school community;
- To promote the nursery, aiming at full occupancy.
Requirements:
- Good understanding of marketing and supporting the occupancy within the Nursery;
- Ability to balance and reconcile different interests and responds sensitively to varying needs;
- Self-confident with strong interpersonal skills;
- Knowledge of Ofsted standards and experience of inspections;
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the nursery and meet occupancy and financial objectives;
- Be responsible for recruitment, management, training and discipline of nursery staff;
- Good communication skills, approachable, confident and caring with a passion for working with children;
- Degree in relevant Early Years;
- An excellent understanding of safeguarding / knowledge of child protection procedures;
- Degree preferred;
- To effectively manage the occupancy levels/ ratios;
- To manage all day to day operations of the centre;
- Full and relevant Level 3 and or above(equivalent) Childcare qualification;
- Childcare qualified to Level 3 or above from a recognised awarding scheme (CWDC Diploma, NNEB, BTEC, NVQ, CACHE);
- ability to manage and work as part of a team.
