Our company is looking for a Part Time Credit Controller to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Chasing outstanding debt by telephone, email and letter;
  • Assisting with other aspects of Accounts such as Bank Reconciliations and Purchase ledger;
  • Processing Journals;
  • Debt Administration;
  • General administration;
  • Generating customer credit notes;
  • Raising credit notes;
  • Checking and posting receipts;
  • Taking credit card payments;
  • Credit checking and setting appropriate limits;
  • Management of your own accounts on the sales ledger;
  • Calling and chasing debtors to request payment;
  • Issuing of invoices and statements to clients;
  • Following up any missing agreed payments as necessary;
  • Maintaining debtor report.

Requirements:

  • Have great verbal, listening and written communication, as well as relationship and rapport building skills;
  • Figure, Client and Service minded;
  • AAT level 2 or above;
  • Ability to operate in extreme high-pressure situations, successfully handle multiple competing priorities;
  • Robust troubleshooting and strong analytical skills with problem solving ability;
  • Have accuracy, with a strong attention to detail;
  • Excellent customer service skills, understanding that the customer is at the forefront of everything we do;
  • Good telephone manner;
  • Confident telephone manner;
  • Must have at least 3 years’ experience;
  • Good accounts mind;
  • Minimum one years’ experience working within an office in a telephone based role;
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients;
  • Ms Office – Word, Excel;
  • Have good attention to detail.
