Our company is looking for a Payroll Advisor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of transactional and legislative processes;
  • Preparing payroll reports and pay-slips for submission to clients;
  • Keeping up-to-date with relevant changes in payroll legislation;
  • Updating pension information where required;
  • Processing payroll each week/month to tight deadlines;
  • Reconcile payroll expenditure to meet finance requirements;
  • Offering support and providing solutions in regards to processing: Absence, SSP/SMP/SPP, Statutory requirements and auto enrolment;
  • Ensuring compliance with UK legislation and regulations;
  • Composing spreadsheet formulation in relation to data and extracting data;
  • Answering staff questions about wages, deductions and attendance;
  • Submitting RTI;
  • Preparing and inputting data into the payroll system, ensuring accuracy and confidentially of information;
  • The processing of manual payments when needed;
  • Processing Aviva’s payroll every pay period for roughly 17,000 employees;
  • Assisting with production of P11d’s.

Requirements:

  • Experience with different Payroll software such as SAP, Frontier, Chris21 & Oracle;
  • Exposure to KRONOS T&A system would be advantageous;
  • At least 2 years’ experience within Payroll environment;
  • Experience of processing at least 5000 employees within a fast-paced environment;
  • Competent with data entry and excel spreadsheets, knowledge of V-Look ups would be an advantage.
