Practice Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Practice Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Finance support;
- General HR Duties, recruitment support, maintaining employee files. Partner with HR to update and maintain office policies as necessary;
- Plan in-house or off-site activities, like parties, celebrations and conferences;
- Provide general support to visitors;
- Ensuring the smooth running of day to day activities;
- Organizing the office layout and ordering stationery and equipment;
- Maintain fire and security contracts and procedures;
- Oversee utilities contracts;
- Assist with QMS and procedures;
- Maximising internal and external resources;
- Prepare and manage facilities budget;
- Manage creative support team and their workload;
- Organise internal moves and relocations;
- Recruitment;
- Coordinate all aspects of HR.
Requirements:
- Ability to identify training and development needs in self and other as well as experience of appraising staff;
- A relevant qualification in Business Management or equivalent;
- Prior experience of leadership and personnel management, ideally within a healthcare setting;
- Excellent interpersonal skills to manage relationships with colleagues, clinical professionals, customers and senior management;
- Experience in financial management;
- Motivation and drive to make your Practice a success;
- Clinical experience working in a GP practice;
- IT Literate;
- Excellent organisational, management and planning skills, IT skills and communication skills;
- Man-management experience including conducting one-to-ones, performance reviews, and managing staff development;
- First Degree level qualification or working at this level;
- Over 5-10+ years’ work experience, ideally in a managerial role where a significant proportion of the duties involved coordinating;
- Proven ability to manage a varied workload;
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, and ability to set own strategies and goals to effectively contribute to the success of the company;
- Be resilient, reliable, consistent, creative and efficient.
