Responsibilities:

  • Close collaboration with software, firmware and hardware teams to define efficient implementations and optimisations of the system design;
  • Capture the system requirements;
  • Operate as Design Authority / Equipment Lead throughout the project development and manufacturing phase;
  • Modelling of components of the System design;
  • Support the implementation of system level requirements;
  • Support the system integration and test activities;
  • Show traceability and establish verification methods of systems engineering requirements;
  • Plan and conduct studies in a wide variety of communication technologies including SDR, RF, telecommunications and bespoke solutions;
  • Support verification of the system requirements;
  • Liaison with the test and acceptance team to ensure timely customer acceptance;
  • Allocate the system level requirements to sub-systems based on the system architecture;
  • Plan and conduct research in new communications concepts.
