Our company is looking for a Operations Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Escalate issues requiring a greater level of attention to the Major Incident Management team for agreement on the best approach to resolution;
  • Create and manage an operational change process;
  • Work on various shifts which will cover a ‘follow the sun’ support model across 3 Global centres;
  • Manage and/or coordinate large/complex Operations, Corporate or Business initiatives/projects (excluding regulatory initiatives/projects);
  • Monitoring, maintaining and verifying the format of various forms of Technical Reports;
  • Support the UK Senior Management Regime with reporting and oversight support;
  • Help lead and coordinate on EMEA Operations Recovery & Resolution initiatives;
  • Coordinate termly review meetings with SMT, celebrate success, identifying issues and finding solutions;
  • Maintaining records of critical defects sent weekly by fleet managers and head of marine operations every Saturday to general manager;
  • Completion of regular monthly and ad hoc reports;
  • Production of Operations papers and reporting for 2nd & 3rd line Committees and Councils;
  • Technical gap analysis;
  • Building new relationships and maintaining the relationships we have with our current customers;
  • Identifying and winning work within the Defence sector;
  • Admin liaison on projects.

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate concisely, effectively and instil confidence within the Major Incident, professional services and engineering teams;
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills;
  • Willing to take ownership of issues and follow them through to successful completion;
  • A professional and friendly demeanor;
  • Settlements or back office experience;
  • A strong work ethic and a proactive approach;
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills;
  • Worked in Service operations within an enterprise organisation;
  • People and service orientated with a desire to provide a high-quality service to customers and users;
  • Other soft skills – self-starter, pro-active, energy/drive, open minded, flexible, can work independently;
  • Experience solving problems and providing practical insights from data, with strong commercial/ business acumen;
  • Strong proficiency in Excel/ G-Sheets with demonstrated experience in building excel models to solve business problems end-to-end;
  • Experience with SQL/ Tableau/ Looker/ visualization and analytic tools, is a plus;
  • Experience in product development, from defining features/ prioritisation to interacting with developers – is a plus;
  • Problem solving and ability to work creatively.
