Our company is looking for a Reporting Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide ad hoc IT reports to ensure effective and timely, customer focused reports to identify service anomalies;
  • Using SQL for querying, manipulate and extract data;
  • Support improvement requirements so that improvement initiatives can be implemented;
  • Analyse IT data to identify high level trends with core processes (incident, major incident, problem change etc);
  • Participate in reviewing and verification of presented business requirements;
  • Extracting data and learning about creating reports;
  • Contribute to periodic activity summary reports to deliver accurate and meaningful reporting on a regular basis;
  • Analyze and improve existing reporting functionality;
  • Provide, enhance and maintain a suite of IT Service reports;
  • Provide daily production support for travel data processes based on the technical and business knowledge of multiple applications;
  • Ability to manage and enhance Information Builders WebFocus reporting platform for new and existing clients;
  • Collaborate with internal and external Clients to analyze new requests, solve reported problems, create new and modify the existing Reporting System;
  • Provide reporting to meet business unit requirements;
  • Working across teams to deliver self-service, interactive and insightful dashboards using PowerBI;
  • Provide support to the IT Service Management team.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Cognos, SSRS (sql server reporting services), Crystal Reports, Oracle, Business Objects, Power BI;
  • Report writing – able to produce detailed reports for all levels;
  • Critical appraisal of others’ work;
  • Analyse data to deliver well considered conclusions;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft packages;
  • Experience of SAP Reporting;
  • Collaborate with others inside and outside of the team to deliver project and initiative required outcomes;
  • Task management and ability to effectively manage multiple high priority projects;
  • T-SQL;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Knowledge of MS Server, SSIS, SQL desired;
  • Worked with ETL process, data loads and transformation;
  • Good knowledge of hardware & software requirements;
  • FMCG background;
  • Provide expertise in analysis, design and creation of complex reports and problem resolution.
