Van Driver Cat B Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Van Driver Cat B to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Some lifting may be required – up to 20kg;
- Delivering office supplies;
- Up to 20 deliveries daily;
- Daily vehicle checks;
- Completing and dropping local stock in the company CAT B Van;
- Transporting a variety of vehicles, ranging from cars up to vans;
- Liaising with customers/ clients;
- Occasional night out, however, hotel provided;
- Good communication skills with customer facing sales of sandwiches;
- Programing Bluetooth devices from pre-printed instructions;
- Driving Cat B Licence;
- Organising stock within the warehouse;
- Accurate completion of paperwork;
- Deliveries to Local Industrial Estates;
- Taking in incoming deliveries.
Requirements:
- Verifiable references;
- Completing all deliveries within the required timeslots with a professional and efficient manner;
- Clean licence preferable;
- Following all company safety policies and procedures;
- Good customer service skills as would be customer facing;
- Commercial driving experience;
- Previous delivery experience is desired and but not essential;
- Good Knowledge of the south coast road system;
- Be able to work in a busy environment;
- Flexibility in terms of shifts;
- Ability to travel to the Daneshill area of Basingstoke independently;
- NO DD or DR endorsements on driving licence;
- Ability to follow and work under instruction;
- At least 6 months experience of driving in Central London and surrounding areas;
- UK Driving Licence.
