Highlight any risks and issues that may impact service delivery and work with the Operational team to mitigate these;
Conducts team briefings and deployments to update staff on best practices and expectations;
Drive Accuracy, Delivery on time and fulfilment by managing your area;
Work collaboratively with site to ensure customer satisfaction;
Responsible for your area ensuring KPI targets are achieved;
Manage an AMS tool to enable effective shift planning;
Plan the training of staff, and monitor their performance and progress. Continually review and provide regular feedback;
Delivery of a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for team members;
Lead Warehouse functional teams and optimizing day-to-day performance, including shift sections so that business targets are met or exceeded;
Responsible for the control of Health & Safety, ensuring that all procedures are adhered to;
Effective leadership and management of operational teams;
Budget accountability and overview;
Delivery of Key Performance Indicators (KPI);
Plan team resources to achieve operational requirements;
Managing staff performance when necessary e.g. disciplinary matters.
