Surface Mount Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Surface Mount Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Breakdown repair of the SM equipment;
- Delivery of daily, weekly & monthly SM equipment maintenance procedures (TPM) on time and to standard;
- Reflow of board and First off checks are also desirable skills;
- Generate machine programs from CAD data in line with NPI requirements;
- Soldering Surface Mount Components are preferable;
- Experience on MyData/ MyChronic machines;
- Printing, Oven set-up, Polarity and Solder checks;
- Support on technical matters relating to the SM machines and processes;
- Continual checks such as Sign on / Sign off;
- Optimise SM set-ups to improve line efficiency;
- Ensure SM machines are backed up on schedule.
Requirements:
- Previous experience of working in an Electronics Manufacturing environment;
- Previous experience of PCB and Electronic assembly.
