Our company is looking for a Solicitor to join our team.


  • Maintain your continuing professional development requirements and take an active interest in furthering your knowledge within the field of law;
  • Attend to clients of the Firm in the office or elsewhere if needed;
  • Communicate promptly and effectively both internally to colleagues and externally to clients;
  • To undertake advocacy at all levels of Court/at Tribunals as appropriate, including the preparation and management of cases;
  • To ensure that a responsive and cost-effective service is provided to officers and service departments;
  • Actively marketing the Employment law team in conjunction with other Team members and other Teams in order to develop the firm’s client base;
  • assisting clients in negotiations with regard to termination and addressing issues e.g., Settlement Agreements;
  • Provide employment advice and assistance to the firm’s clients and prospective clients;
  • advising with regard to TUPE issues;
  • Motor claims, including cycle and pedestrian claims;
  • Develop market and sector knowledge and demonstrate expertise to clients, families, case managers, IFA’s, therapists in a MDT approach;
  • preparing bespoke contracts and advising with regard to implications e.g., secondment and consultancy agreements;
  • Faulty cosmetic injuries;
  • Accidents occurred in schools and on holidays;
  • advising with regard to disciplinary and grievance issues and procedures.


  • Flexibility;
  • Proven experience in a similar role;
  • You will be ambitious and dynamic;
  • You will have experience in a range of Commercial Litigation matters;
  • You will work well in a team;
  • Experience working on Medical related negligence files;
  • 2+ years PQE;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Excellent communication skills.
