Our company is looking for a Electronics Production Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures;
  • To Manage and Maintain Test Equipment Calibrations;
  • To ensure that customer requirements are always met;
  • To create detailed Standard Operating Procedures to support manufacturing processes;
  • To effectively communicate with external suppliers;
  • Perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and stoppages;
  • First line support and troubleshooting for all production breakdown issues;
  • Will be responsible for managing and leading continuous improvement projects;
  • Validate machine programs;
  • To continually improve quality and speed of manufactured products;
  • To advise on new manufacturing techniques;
  • Implement a formal program that focuses on reducing process and product variation;
  • Create SPI programs;
  • Other relevant duties as required;
  • Manage a portfolio of projects directed at reducing waste and improving quality to provide greater value, using appropriate methodology.

Requirements:

  • Experience gained in a Manufacturing/Engineering role. Knowledge of ERP/MRP;
  • Able to provide in-house Windows Desktop support for production test and machines across multiple Windows platforms;
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines;
  • Knowledge of ICT and ATE machine/s;
  • Understanding and implementing process improvement;
  • Able to create PCB Designs – Optional;
  • Understanding of RF products in the HF and UHF frequency bands;
  • Skills in use of CAD or similar type software drawing package;
  • Awareness of Compliance standards i.e. UL, ETL & ATEX;
  • Experience of SMD PCB assembly is essential;
  • Ability provide first line in-house Windows Desktop support for Production test & machines across multiple Windows platforms;
  • Basic National Instruments LabVIEW design & support skills;
  • Hands on approach to all tasks/mechanically minded;
  • Basic Knowledge of SMT Pick and place machines;
  • Ability to design basic electronic circuits.
