Our company is looking for a Junior Project Engineer to join our team.

Develop key customer relationships;
Coach and motivate a project team;
Ensure all services and installations are compliant and certified to the required standards;
The successful delivery of the project from start through to completion;
Ensure the quarterly account closing of the project and forecast estimates are carried out;
Provisions of technical support and advice;
Manage the procurement and purchases for the project;
Review supplier performance;
Specifies equipment, obtains bids, purchases equipment and services, co-ordinates design and construction, to ensure a safe and effective start-up;
Implements projects at the lowest possible cost, in the minimum amount of time, with maximum benefits to the plant;
Oversees and manages contractors and projects;
Provides day-to-day trouble-shooting and develops systems and programs for improving the trouble-shooting skills of others;
Plays a major role in the development of the site with regard to new equipment introduction, current equipment improvements and associated layout;
Initiates, leads and implements process improvement efforts and projects, leads teams in analysing problems and developing best solutions;
Generates recommendations, cost estimates and justifications for plant capital budget.

Flexible approach to work and keen to develop a career in the mechanical engineering sector;
Willing and able to be away from home for extended periods (generally anything from 1 -6 weeks, sometime more);
Excellent Communicator, able to deal credibly with customers and colleague;
Recent graduate/HND in mechanical engineering discipline;
Some industry experience, either a first job or work placement in a mechanical engineering environment;
UK Driving Licence;
No criminal convictions;
valid passport;
Experience with AutoCad Inventor 2D and 3D. Solidworks or similar package also considered.
