Responsibilities:

  • Technically competent in own discipline and actively maintains own competence according to standards and pursues continuous professional development;
  • Adhere to and comply with relevant discipline specific procedures and provide feedback for continuous improvement;
  • Provides coaching and mentoring for direct reports;
  • Participate in audits and incident investigations as required;

  • Manage and direct resources efficiently and effectively;
  • Management of third party suppliers in the execution of Engineering delivery.

Requirements:

  • Expert in the Operations Excellence Framework (OEF);
  • Lead audit and incident investigations;
  • Competent in people interviewing, selection, communication and management including performance management;
  • Monitors compliance with standards and processes to assure operational delivery;
  • Able to demonstrate a level of team working skills;
  • Provide strong leadership in promoting, demonstrating and being a role model for company core values and ethics policy and the leadership framework;
  • HNC/HND or equivalent professional qualification with extensive relevant experience;
  • Enthusiastic, conscientious and keen to learn;
  • Competent in own particular area of expertise to provide support to the business;
  • Demonstrate current knowledge with industry and technology development within area of expertise;
  • Competent in forecast planning for people resources;
  • Competent in knowledge of regulatory framework and associated legislation;
  • Intellectually capable, can substantiate the ability to apply theory in a practical context;
  • Flexible with a can-do attitude;
  • Competent in implementation and execution of standards and processes to effect delivery of engineering excellence.
