Our company is looking for a Site Engineer to join our team.

Understand and assist with site safety systems;
Implementing the site project programme;
Communications – Communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with regard to contracts and within QSG;
Reactive calls – Respond to allocated calls, resolve and advise Help Desk, complete and return all relevant documentation;
Planned Preventive – Carry out PPMs as allocated, complete and return all relevant documentation;
Competent and accurate setting out skills;
Review detailed design, critique and communicate with designers to ensure adequate design is available for construction;
Ensure only the latest issues of drawings are being used;
Be confident to work under minimum supervision;
Production of as-built drawings & records for every element of the works involved in;
Manage labour on site and attend progress meetings;
Implement the project requirements to fully meet the client specification in accordance with relevant;
Carry out relevant inspections in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plan;
Supervision and planning of workload for the site teams;
As built surveys.

Good word and excel skills;
Competent in setting out;
Working knowledge in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project etc;
Proactive and driven person with a strong desire to make progress backed by a strong level of construction knowledge;
A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a site engineer;
Technical knowhow;
Residential project experience;
Formal engineering qualifications;
Available for long term work;
Minimum 2 years’ experience working on RC frame or civil engineering projects;
BSc or BEng level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HNC/HND or the equivalent;
Highways experience;
Able to clearly communicate the requirements of a safe system of work to ensure that these are followed accurately;
DBS check on offer of employment;
Minimum 5 years’ experience within the industry.
