Our company is looking for a Engineering Estimator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with all stakeholders to establish a ‘bid’ or ‘no bid’ decision for proposals;
  • Compiling comprehensive statements of work, hours/costs and bills of materials;
  • Establish assumptions and limitations required, based on proposal scope and information available;
  • Support tracking of active RFP’s;
  • Working with departments/specialists to collate/confirm task hours;
  • Create sketches/LOPA’s in support of the proposal response as required;
  • Collating all information into the proposal cost sheet, Boeing systems and obtaining sign off.

Requirements:

  • Appraising tender documents and preparing estimates as necessary;
  • Communicate effectively at all times with both clients and internal companies / departments;
  • Being the point of contact with clients including raising & answering queries etc;
  • Measuring and pricing accurate complete cost plans;
  • To attend client presentations and providing information to clients in a professional manner;
  • Investigate and price Value Engineering cost savings where applicable;
  • Strong management and communication skills;
  • Understand of electronics assembly, time and costs involved;
  • Attend and takes notes of any meetings relevant to the project;
  • Preparing budget estimates and cost plans;
  • Time served on assembly floor and associated tooling;
  • Pricing of Bills of Quantities including components, assembly and other associated materials;
  • Apprentice Trained or BTEC qualified;
  • Ensuring accurate tracking of all tender documentation;
