Quant Developer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Quant Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets;
- Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide reports;
- Work with senior colleagues to prioritise business and information needs;
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities;
- Acquire data from multiple data sources, filtering, cleaning and wrapping.
Requirements:
- Positive ‘can do’ attitude, and ability to meet deadlines;
- Attention to detail and able to retain information;
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new environments;
- Adept using at least one of the common analytical programming languages eg. R/Python, etc. (C++ is preferred);
- Strong communication and collaboration skills;
- Statistical modelling and data analytics skills;
- BSc in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering or other quantitative discipline.
