Reporting Consultant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Reporting Consultant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with data transfer projects;
- Review all requests for data and reports from Risx-Facs;
- Develop simple report requests as required by the business;
- Assist with reviewing / testing new features / enhancements;
- Assist with training and demonstrations as required;
- Be the first point-of-contact on the Helpdesk;
- Assist in training users on business applications and processes;
- Assist internal / external users with setting up customised reports;
- Provide support for business application and process queries;
- Setup and maintain internal / external user security;
- Responsibility for production of regular reports on behalf of external users;
- Assist with reviews of internal /external user security;
- Assist in rolling out new features / processes / enhancements;
- Develop / enhance procedures for use of business applications and databases;
- Assist in projects as required.
Requirements:
- Experience with Origami Risk;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Time Management & Prioritisation;
- SQL Query Knowledge;
- Experience with Cognos Preferred (Query Studio, Event Studio, Report Studio);
- VBA Skills;
- Advanced excel skills;
- VBA;
- Attention to detail;
- Experience with SSRS;
- A in A-Level Maths or higher;
- Logical thinker;
- Insurance industry experience.
