Our company is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Financial reporting on a monthly basis;
- Working with and maintaining strong relationships across core finance, IT, operational managers and stakeholders;
- Producing and installing various Financial Models to track budgeting and forecasting;
- Support FP&A Manager with creating and maintaining commercial models;
- Assisting in strategic planning and forecasting;
- Build and maintain new commissions tool;
- Drive a culture of maximising site profitability within the business, providing challenge on prices and costs;
- Assist in developing finance and business presentations and related supporting materials;
- Providing reports on the business’ financial performance;
- Providing pricing and financial analysis for new product development stage gate reviews;
- Provide analytical support to commercial teams, gaining a better understanding of market and customer trends and performance;
- Analysing and communicating on product and market segment profitability to continue the drive of sustainable and profitable growth;
- Effective business partnering with relevant business management teams;
- Creating and developing pricing models to drive automation and standardisation of information generated satisfying multiple scenarios of input;
- External & internal financial comms.
Requirements:
- Working effectively within an environment of change;
- Experience working within Financial Services;
- Experience in building and maintaining commercial models;
- Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.K;
- Budgeting;
- Takes accountability for delivering on commitments; owns mistakes and uses them as opportunities for learning and development;
- High degree of proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint;
- Solid understanding of accounting and finance principles;
- Clear and effective communication skills;
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified;
- Presenting and reporting to board;
- Previously experience within a software or fintech business is desirable but not crucial;
- Ability to solve complex problems;
- Finance business partnering with key stakeholders;
- Financial modelling.
