Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that Company Quality and Health & Safety standards are met and maintained at all times;
- Parts Stress Derating;
- Write safety cases using DEF STAN 00-56 etc, including supporting documentation;
- Preparation of documentation with the end goal of system qualification and product certification;
- Prioritise workload in line with production requirements;
- Implementing processes which enable complete automation of both test execution and evidence collection;
- Provide holiday and sickness cover for colleagues by either working extended shifts or being available for call out;
- Assisting in rolling out a new Services Architecture platform across Markets Finance and Transaction Accounting;
- Integrating software components including unit and integrated software testing according to the test plan;
- Identify and order spare parts at the most cost-effective price;
- Engage fully in the process of determining, agreeing and delivering site start programmes and development programmes within agreed timescales;
- Manage and report all engineering requirements as per Group policies and processes;
- Carry out planned maintenance tasks as per the maintenance schedule;
- Work with CPS teams to improve overall efficiency of plant and equipment;
- Liaise with all departments within the Global Network Services business line, including Deployment, Engineering, and Operations.
Requirements:
- Preparation of documentation with the end goal of system qualification and product certification;
- Extensive experience with Spring frameworks and Spring boot;
- Good Technical knowledge and Commercial awareness;
- Extensive experience of using DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Team City;
- Basic Financial and Legal understanding;
- Experience with distributed version control tools (Git/GitHub/Bitbicket);
- Extensive experience with Java, Angular 3+, JavaScript, Node Java Script,
- Experience with Jenkins or other continuous integration systems;
- Experience of Agile Development methodologies;
- Extensive experience in the Information Technology industry with hands-on development in Java Programming, and a particular focus on Oracle skills;
- A good understanding of the Engineering aspects of the house building industry;
- Organised and calm under pressure;
- Be time served or hold electrical qualifications – (Electrical bias);
- Expert knowledge of Java 8, Spring, Representational State Transfer Application programming interface and Microservices;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages would be an advantage.
