Our company is looking for a Health Care Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Support for individuals with behaviours described as challenging;
  • Assisting Residents in a Care environment;
  • Providing support with daily activities;
  • Participate in the planning of care programmes and preparation of care review discussions;
  • To work well within the team, with the service users, their families, colleagues and outside agencies;
  • Prompt independence;
  • Report all suspected and actual incidents in according with the Organisation’s Whistle Blowing policy;
  • To help with the setting up of the dining room and meal trays in readiness for meal-times;
  • Act in accordance with service users care plans;
  • Personal care;
  • Assist in weighing of residents;
  • To assist in the direct care provision of all aspects of the service users assessed needs, which may include;
  • To assist in the daily care of the residents, helping with dressing / undressing, washing, bathing and personal hygiene where necessary;
  • aware of boundaries of work to prevent harm to patients;
  • To help clear up the dining room after meals, ensuring all dirty the cutlery, crockery and utensils are returned to the kitchen.

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK;
  • Experience with Trache/NG/ PEG feeding/Medication;
  • Candidates must be passionate about caring and willing to develop their skills further;
  • You must be friendly and supportive toward vulnerable infants, children and adults;
  • All positions and posts are subject to a DBS check;
  • Willing to complete specialist training to meet the needs of the client;
  • Phlebotomy;
  • Great communication and written skills;
  • Immunisation record;
  • NMC Registration;
  • Basic experience is essential for this role;
  • To have a genuine interest for older people;
  • To have the ability to work effectively within a team environment;
  • Full-time agency;
  • At least 3 months’ previous experience working in a care environment in the UK within the last 5 years.
