Our company is looking for a Registered General Nurse to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Playing a leading role in ensuring all Patient Journeys are completed with the utmost care, empathy and service that excels all Patient expectations;
- Supporting the surgery manager and assisting with infection control audits;
- Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team in order to ensure outstanding issues are addressed prior to surgery;
- Ensuring that all patients proceeding to surgery have had the opportunity to understand the potential risks and benefits of treatment;
- Overseeing drug storage, administration, ordering and recording;
- Deputising in absence of senior manager;
- Appropriate assessment and induction of staff and residents;
- Preparation of care plans to meet individual needs.
Requirements:
- NMC Registration;
- Right to work in the UK;
- Excellent time management skills;
- Demonstrate confidentiality, integrity and discretion;
- Caring manner, Patient attentiveness and professionalism paramount with all of our Patient interactions;
- Strong organisational skills attention to detail with the ability to prioritise tasks;
- Ability to absorb and convey highly technical information;
- A passion or interest for optical healthcare / refractive surgery;
- Adaptable with a flexible approach to work;
- NMC Registered Level 1 Adult Nurse/RGN;
- Be NMC registered. Your NMC pin should not have any restrictions or conditions;
- Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday 8 hour shifts 10:00 – 18:00;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- At least 1 year’s post-registration experience, with a minimum of 6 months surgical nursing experience;
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 6 hour shifts 10:00 – 16:00.
