Area Sales Account Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Area Sales Account Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Acting as the primary point of contact for your customer base;
- Establishing, developing and maintaining long-term relationships with customers through managing and interpreting their requirements;
- Visiting customers on site; such as landfill sites, construction sites, demolition sites etc and adhering to site safety at all times;
- Lead Generation and establishing new business with new and existing customers (in both hire and sales);
- Proactively identifying areas of improvement of internal and external processes;
- Appropriate customer experience management;
- Sometimes required to support marketing activities by attending trade exhibitions, conferences and other events.
Requirements:
- Full clean UK Driving License;
- Knowledge of Construction and/or Agricultural Equipment desired;
- Proven track record in managing a large portfolio of customers desired;
- Basic IT skills essential;
- Knowledge of Tool & Plant Hire Industry desired;
- Proven Sales Experience in a similar position is essential.
