Sales Account Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sales Account Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new school business and generate new pipeline;
- Logging all activity into the CRM system such as quotes, updates on calls and delivery notes to met;
- Liaise with logistics, accounts and warehouse to ensure sale is fully progressed correctly;
- Work with the development team to identify possible sale opportunities;
- Develop inbound calls into new business;
- Identify sales opportunities in key sectors that BtP operate;
- Attend trade exhibitions and network at events to develop relationships and identify new sales opportunities;
- Become a customer trusted advisor for all things in IT and telecommunications;
- Arrange ground operations and deal with local suppliers in Switzerland;
- Negotiating the terms of an agreement and close sales;
- Generating and managing a sales and marketing plan for your area (including producing marketing copy and event management where necessary);
- Work with the managing director and marketing team, pitching to clients at both board and senior management level;
- Develop a variety of tour packages to suit the needs of both the wholesale market and the retail market in Australia, Ireland and the Nordic Region;
- Generating new business from new and existing schools;
- Maintaining relationships with clients by providing support, information and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities.
Requirements:
- Experience of working and thriving in a fast paced environment;
- Experience of working with managers at all levels of a business including directors and decision makers;
- Managing and developing sales pipeline;
- Maximise the relationships they currently have within the IT Sales market;
- Experience in sales and/or account management;
- Ensuring process moves as smoothly as possible for clients – managing whole process;
- The drive and motivation to generate new business from scratch;
- An undergraduate degree (2:1 or higher) or equivalent-level qualification. 👏
- Experience in Sail making or Rigging;
- Excellent phone manner;
- Graduate with bachelor university degree and preferably with graduate degrees (e.g. Master or above);
- Contacting existing and new clients;
- You enjoy interacting with people and have a confident, friendly and professional phone manner;
- Excellent English language skills;
- Enthusiasm for, and ability to strongly evangelize, Infinera’s value proposition.
