Our company is looking for a category development manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads elements and is integral part of the creation and delivery of the organisation’s category vision;
  • Work with the Brand, Insight and Sales teams to create compelling category selling stories;
  • The development of strong business relationships with contacts in our customers;
  • To review, develop and implement the category vision taking into account the commercial goals set by the business;
  • The development of ongoing category insights to deliver continuous category development in our customers; demonstrating a proactive attitude;
  • Build strong relationships on a day-to-day basis and be proactive at managing the needs and expectations of immediate internal and external customers;
  • To create compelling, insight led category sells to our customers independently;
  • The implementation of the category vision & strategy through customer specific plans;
  • Building ‘best in class’ category partnerships, growing the category & AG Barr’s share of space & sales;
  • To support the sales team in the delivery of sales, distribution & brand initiative objectives.

Requirements:

  • Previously worked in a category or insight related role;
  • Ability to collect and insight into compelling selling stories;
  • Previous exposure to FMCG sectors;
  • Educated to degree level;
  • Strong excel skills;
  • Strong project management skills.
