Our company is looking for a Centre Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, manage and review all rental budgets with Portfolio Manager and Facilities Manager;
  • To provide first class customer service to all customers, and visitors to the centre;
  • Host, manage and market the company – ensure all up/down sizing opportunities are maximised;
  • Responsible for customers moving in and out, including management of the dilapidations process and unit preparation in line with company procedures;
  • Work in accordance with the policies and procedures of the company;
  • To take responsibility for the NPR of the centre;
  • Familiar with telecoms terminology, unique selling points, sales process and pricing and the ability to communicate this to potential customers;
  • Taking responsibility for dealing with arrears prior to handing over difficult cases to Credit Control team;
  • Pro-actively manage and market their centre to ensure excellent delivery of customer service and customer satisfaction;
  • Developing funding opportunities in collaboration with Centre researchers;
  • Leading on the organization of research workshops and academic conferences;
  • Stimulating public interest for the Centre and developing its media presence;
  • Conducting original research in collaboration with Centre researchers;
  • Preparing of reports and other information pertaining to the Centre;
  • Building – Creating a warm and welcoming environment for all Customers ensuring that the building is maintained to the highest standards.

Requirements:

  • Ability to organise and manage own work;
  • Experience of working with children;
  • Good problem solving skills;
  • Maintain a smart personal appearance;
  • Enjoy working with children and teenagers from different cultures;
  • Ability to maintain long periods of physical activity;
  • Pass Disclosure Scotland/DBS/background checking/vetting procedures;
  • Demonstrate initiative towards taking on extra tasks;
  • Ability to address large groups of young people;
  • Ability to communicate effectively;
  • Previous summer school experience;
  • Previous activity leading experience;
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and be flexible.
