CI Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a CI Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the setup and integration of daily management into all areas. Daily management processes alive and delivering benefit;
- Coach and embed a culture of continuous improvement;
- Adhere to Knauf Health and Safety policies and procedures, also UK HSE laws, regulations to ensure the safety of yourself and others;
- Standardise templates, tools and processes and ensure compliance to these methods, through document control;
- Standardised and embedded suite of CI / process tools;
- Identify and facilitate process improvement projects, training/ workshops to drive cultural change;
- Employees understand and implement process thinking and Lean tools in their daily work;
- Carry out advanced data collection and analysis for process mapping, develop budgets and cost analysis to determine project feasibility;
- Set service related customer metrics within each process. Use available internal and external benchmarks to measure against best in class;
- Bring functions together collaboratively to influence benefits up and down the Supply Chain / Value Stream.
Requirements:
- Evidence of establishing CI in a high performing organisation;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft word, excel and ERP applications;
- Ability to work with and influence others in a fast paced environment, ability to work shifts as required;
- Proven track record of financial delivery through the application of CI practices;
- Educated to degree level or equivalent within a scientific or engineering discipline or relevant level experience;
- Experience of successful cultural change in a manufacturing environment (overcoming and supporting others with obstacles).
