Responsibilities:

  • Inspire a culture of creative thinking and innovation throughout the creative department and the wider agency;
  • Manage, inspire, guide and motivate the creative department to ensure that they perform at their peak and grow their careers;
  • Constantly raise the standard of creative output across all client accounts;
  • Delivery of creative products of the highest standard that generate measurable business return for our clients;
  • Set the creative vision and drive strategies through the entire creative and development process;
  • Integrate and communicate well with team members across account service, analytics, project management, and development disciplines;
  • Are you willing to think like an owner and prioritise doing the right thing by your clients?
  • Take ownership of the creative proposals working with the broader team on content;
  • Take a leadership role on new business pitches;
  • Ensure that creative ideas and executions support client business goals;
  • Are you open to exploring new ways to find the solutions we need to deliver client success?
  • Own brand guidelines and ensure excellent execution across brands, markets and customer touchpoints;
  • Are you also open to travel to the US on a fairly regular basis?

Requirements:

  • You’re a practitioner. This is a leadership role, but you will still be on the tools. (and you wouldn’t have it any other way);
  • Branding and communication is your focus;
  • Extensive experience in feature design and development;
  • Strong previous agency and CD experience;
  • Experience supporting national B2B and B2C brands;
  • At least 10 years’ experience with an ATL / BTL agency / design studio;
  • Achieve high level of internal and external satisfaction;
  • Proven ability to drive new business through creating pitch winning concepts and proposals;
  • Enthusiasm for traditional and contemporary Scottish music, performance cultures and other music genres;
  • Interest in latest trends, technologies and practices in branding, marketing, digital and experiential tactics;
  • Flexible approach to working hours and travel;
  • Possess the ability to lead client meetings, rationalise creative choices to clients;
  • Familiarity with the use and application of project management and QA task/bug-tracking tools;
  • A strong passion for all things digital, with an appreciation for how it connects holistically;
  • A zest for creative, technical and production innovation allied to respect for heritage and Tattoo traditions.
