Our company is looking for a Director to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• help ensure that the Board operates with full regard to diversity and equalities and to the principles of public life;
• Developing and implementing of a planned giving strategy;
• Managing a portfolio of major gift prospect and donors as well as senior corporate and foundation contacts;
• Developing the annual plan, budget, key goals and objectives, and metrics for the fundraising program;
• Managing external agency/vendor relationships including selection, contract management, and evaluation of performance;
• Ensuring a culture where effective teamwork, collaboration, and innovation are expected, recognized, and rewarded;
• Managing and monitoring a range of organisational budgets;
• Analyze systems to determine root cause & implement solutions for prevention / mitigation;
• Provide regular, timely reports to the board in respect of service performance indicators, targets and budgets;
• Working in partnership with the Bid & Estimating team Planning and implementing project budgets Setting up and managing robust project controls ;
• leading primarily qualitative, but some quantitative projects;
• Lead the Technology Group, promoting excellence and operational effectiveness whilst providing support, and ensuring an optimum employee experience;
• Instigation and management of financial and performance audits, and preparation of complex reports and recommendations;
• Formulating strategic plans for the company;
• The day to day mentoring and management of a team of Quantity Surveyors Buyers and Estimators.

Requirements:

• Recruitment;
• leases;
• Thorough comprehension of credit risk management, credit administration, loan production and servicing;
• Good commercial acumen and capability in strategic thinking, executive level reporting and effective business planning;
• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree would be considered attractive;
• Understanding of, resonance with, and ability to articulate Goodwill’s mission and philosophy;
• Compliance with all regulatory requirements, remaining in good standing with regulatory agencies;
• Excellent writing skills and strong presentation skills required;
• Evidence of effectiveness in building and sustaining relationships with donors and volunteers;
• Knowledge of fundraising best practices;
• Seven plus years of increasingly responsible experience in fundraising with at least five at the management level;
• Experienced in relationship management with knowledge of donor cultivation and stewardship;
• experience of developing international partnerships;
• a reputation for research or publications;
