Our company is looking for a IT Director to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct the preparation and implementation of policies, procedures and standards relating to information and telecommunication systems;
  • Lead and motivate the employees of IT Accountable for IT Service governance;
  • Overall responsibility for the Incident and Service Request handling on the Service Desk Direct;
  • The negotiation of service level agreements with internal and external customers;
  • Manage IT services provided via third parties so that they are fit for purpose and meet service levels;
  • Has a familiarity with ISO 27001, GDPR and an understanding of security concerns;
  • Continuous improvement of processes and best practices;
  • Build winning partnerships with 3rd party suppliers and provide cost efficient solutions on projects;
  • Provide expertise and specialist IT and digital advice to senior leaders on policy and strategy, and the implications for service delivery;
  • Drive the IT function to adhere to Global IT Strategy, business partnering with all Stakeholders;
  • Engage with senior leaders across the Trust to define how technology will underpin the performance of the organisation;
  • Good experience of operating an ITIL life cycle within both an Agile and waterfall delivery environment;
  • Manage and develop strategies to manage risk in relation to ICT compliance for the Trust, taking account of statutory requirements;
  • Succinct execution and delivery of objectives;
  • Experience of the delivery of a 24/7 service running on a public cloud.

Requirements:

  • Has a familiarity with ISO 27001, GDPR and an understanding of security concerns;
  • Proven track record in Senior IT Management, managing multiple IT disciplines such as DBAs, networks and service management;
  • Experience of the delivery of a 24/7 service running on a public cloud;
  • Good experience of operating an ITIL lifecycle within both an Agile and waterfall delivery environment.
