Responsibilities:

  • Investigation of shopper journey, acquisition and retention;
  • Encourage website success with ease of use;
  • Data driven insights including analysis of data, sales & shopper behaviour, post-promotion performance, campaign effectiveness;
  • Working with senior stakeholders in the business, develop a new Ecommerce strategy and manage the implementation;
  • Overall responsibility and day to day management of the B2C online channels, including the website and marketplaces;
  • Responsible for efficient webshop value chain;
  • Ensure all digital marketing campaigns are delivering results and growth;
  • Manage and develop ecommerce team;
  • Utilising web analytics to ensure improved business performance;
  • Manage web content, producing new and creative ideas;
  • Efficiently and effectively sharing online development and trends with different departments and disciplines within the business;
  • Work with external agencies to coordinate and oversee website updates;
  • Manage relationships with web dev agencies and other third parties;
  • Create yearly e-tail plans for UK & IE webshops;
  • Increase newsletter subscription base, setting a strategy for delivery and content, and tracking progress.

Requirements:

  • Comprehensive understanding of web and marketing metrics and tracking mechanisms;
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills;
  • Experience managing an Ecommerce website;
  • Confident in using Google Analytics;
  • Creative, innovative and able to always think ahead;
  • Hands on attitude;
  • Ability to create new & sustainable operating models to shape future business;
  • Ability to take a broad & balanced viewpoint, focused on growing overall business, not just digital revenue;
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – whether dealing with customers, board members, agencies or staff;
  • A strong communicator who works collaboratively with the wider business;
  • A background in either Web Trading or Web Merchandising;
  • Strong influencing skills to create the right business partnerships;
  • Ability to tackle the demands of ever-evolving technological implements with ease;
  • Experience of Magento platforms would be advantageous;
  • Exposure to Merchandising/Product listing management.
