Facilities Coordinator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving, sorting, distributing and dispatching incoming and outgoing post;
- Managing contractors while on site, assist in coordinating upcoming works and projects;
- Ensure all compliance works are completed on time and the relevant certification is obtained and held on file accordingly;
- Ensure all contractor records remain up to date and relevant (RAMS/Insurance);
- Follow up any additional or remedial works required as part of compliance checks;
- Control and manage site asbestos management plan, ensuring all relevant contractors have seen and acknowledged the plan;
- Being the main point of contact for a facilities issues within the office;
- Assistance with health and safety checks;
- Overseeing the day to day Health & Safety and contractor control.
Requirements:
- Demonstrates thoroughness and strong ownership of work;
- Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment;
- Microsoft Office experience;
- Strong working knowledge of Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental requirements;
- Project management experience and strong organisational skills;
- Detail orientated;
- Demonstrable facilities experience ideally in a professional services / corporate environment;
- Personal integrity; trustworthy and honest;
- Experience of working to Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators;
- Energetic, enthusiastic person who is passionate about facilities and who strives to deliver excellent results;
- You will have knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental regulations, championing positive culture within the workplace;
- Counter Terrorism Clearance check is required to enable successful candidate site access;
- A supportive, inclusive and empathetic team member who demonstrates integrity, confidence and professionalism;
- Previous relevant experience;
- HNC or equivalent in an appropriate technical or business discipline advantageous.
