Our company is looking for a Finance Systems Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Tracking service metrics;
  • Addressing any reliability issues;
  • Providing guidance and leadership to the Business, Vendor, Support and Project teams;
  • Support projects / project delivery;
  • Proactively cross train on and develop team members to assist with supporting the wider finance team;
  • Work with the development teams, 2nd-3rd line support and key project stakeholders to test and roll out systems enhancements and improvements;

  • Support the relevant finance departments during the requirement gathering phase of relevant projects and assist with major project delivery;
  • Actively identify and communicate areas where skills gaps present a risk to supporting business as usual;
  • Managing resources responsible for getting services delivered.

Requirements:

  • Lead and deliver on end to end system changes, including project managing any potential systems changes to cloud-based system;
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of Finance Systems functions, closely with the head of finance;
  • Document system and business processes, maintain user guides and train finance and non-finance users;
  • Manage and develop a systems analyst;
  • Act as the lead on the current system, and as the interface between Technology and Finance, to optimise the use of existing functionality;
  • Plan and project management the testing and rolling out of solutions;
  • Project manage business and system changes, working with colleagues across finance and technology;
  • Managing and maintaining a positive relationship with sponsors and stakeholders;
  • Lean and Agile delivery practices;
  • Ability to identify and react to emerging issues;
  • Resource, budget management skills;
  • Finance systems background;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to manage conflict and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders.
