Our company is looking for a Head of property to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Procure and Maintain a Database of all lease information;
  • Provide Property advice to all Operational Stakeholders;
  • Ensuring all estates management lease, landlord, and legal property requirements are managed in accordance with business directives;
  • Negotiating planning consents where necessary;
  • Management of all rent rates service charge and Building Insurance ensuring payments on time, in accordance with legal agreement and within budgets;
  • Manage all external consultants to ensure excellent service delivery;
  • Effectively manage Landlords, negotiating consents and approvals for fit outs and investment;
  • Establishing strong relationships with all key stakeholders, particularly in operations and finance, managing Property service delivery standards;
  • Acquisition and disposal work relating to UK clinic portfolio and support office locations and all other related matters as required;
  • Ability to work with rapidly changing workforce numbers at short notice to deliver scale;
  • Ensuring the property portfolio is maintained to a high standard, adhering to approved budgets;
  • Managing legal negotiations with external Solicitors to ensure deadlines are met;
  • Negotiate all property costs to maximise value;
  • Managing existing portfolio of clinics to meet requirements of business to ensure each asset is performing to exceptional standards.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of Landlord & Tenant Legislation;
  • At least 10 years’ experience within the property industry; commercial experience is essential;
  • Relevant commercial knowledge and track record across a range of operational and commercial site and property matters;
  • Good IT skills, especially with Excel spreadsheets, as well as Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint;
  • Highly self motivated, yet able to operate within a team culture;
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial and residential tenancy and lettings legislation and regulations;
  • Strong leader and people manager with the ability to manage outsourced business processes;
  • Strong organisational skills;
  • Prior experience of successful management of a multi-site, geographically dispersed property;
  • A pro-active problem-solver committed and tenacious in delivering ever-better outcomes;
  • Ability to travel nationally;
  • Good understanding of a business planning process, as well as financial and risk management;
  • MRICS qualified with minimum 5 years broad experience working on multi site commercial portfolio;
  • Effective in relationship management at all levels internally and externally;
  • Strong Presentation Skills and able to operate at all levels.
