Head of Service Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Head of Service to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead for the advisory service on the good management of data;
- Take an oversight on sold services to schools;
- Take the lead for the advisory service on commissioning and training of advisors and associate advisors;
- Work closely with the Inclusion Service and Early Help to ensure the same level of opportunity is afforded to all children and young people;
- Strategic lead with post 16 providers and businesses to support curriculum pathways to plug the skills gap;
- Develop strong partnerships with schools and key services at a locality level to address issues that are impacting on educational outcomes;
- Participate in an area-based model bringing all schools together to maximise sector led improvement;
- Take the lead for the advisory service on commissioning and training of advisors;
- Work cross functionally, to facilitate effective communication and successfully dispatch orders;
- Manage resources to meet seasonal and business needs, carefully balancing costs and service expectations;
- Managing ad-hoc projects;
- Define and continually review quality and customer satisfaction metrics;
- Identify opportunities to innovate and improve our service proposition, particularly through technology;
- Compile data to track and report common issues, creating a feedback loop for the wider business and to facilitate decision making;
- Create a framework that enables the team to succeed – nurturing talent, offering feedback and enabling continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- B1B2 is preferable;
- The rights to live and work ashore in Europe until build completion.
