Our company is looking for a Inside Sales Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the renewals for existing customer contracts;
  • Support the development of marketing campaigns to existing customers and prospects;
  • Provide first line support for incoming enquiries on service contracts;
  • Provide regular communication with customers and prospects by phone, email and, where necessary, on site visits;
  • Generate, nurture and convert opportunities for new contact business with the Company’s installed base, both inside and outside of warranty;
  • Achieve agreed targets for the service contract business;
  • Generate, nurture and qualify leads and opportunities for the responsible products to enhance sales pipeline development;
  • Support office-based customer demonstrations and application development as required;
  • Take responsibility and nurture the direct-sales of hand-held and entry level instruments;
  • Directly support the field-based Measurement Sales team across UK and Ireland;
  • Provide first-line technical and sales support for incoming enquiries for the Measurement product portfolio.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an inside sales or telemarketing environment would be highly beneficial;
  • A positive attitude with the ability to embrace change within a busy sales office environment, take ownership of isses until resolved;
  • A degree (or equivalent) in chemistry, physics, material science or related discipline;
  • Comprehensive product knowledge, ideally for Medical marketplaces;
  • Availability to travel within the UK as required and occasionally overseas for training and business meetings;
  • STEM Qualifications such as Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Chemistry or Biosciences degree;
  • Located in the South East within easy access to the Hertfordshire office;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills through all media;
  • Full Valid UK Driving Licence;
  • Good computer literacy – competent in use of MS Office and CRM software;
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, can do attitude, able to work under own initiative;
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written are essential.
