Our company is looking for a Interim Group Financial Controller to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of KPI’s and variance analysis for board meetings;
  • Be a strong business partner for the operational business challenging performance against plan;
  • Oversee the monthly consolidation and management accounts;
  • Work effectively with the leadership team to review current finance structure; with particular focus on people, process and systems;
  • Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all finance processes, in line with best practice;
  • Lead and motivate the head office finance team;
  • Ensure Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC);
  • Funding and cashflow management;
  • Implement solutions to make improvements and efficiencies and drive standardisation and continual improvement to increase data quality and efficiency;
  • Review accounting processes and procedures;
  • Support in the delivery of the long term strategic plans, ensuring plans are robust and are tracked using relevant and meaningful KPIs;
  • Ensuring alignment and clarity across all Functions resulting in robust seasonal / annual / long term plans;
  • Define and embed a risk management and controls process;
  • Bring Insight and analysis to all commercial decision making, driving both sales and profit growth;
  • Ensure the provision of high quality, timely financial reporting.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical background;
  • Must have previously worked within Retail;
  • Experience of SAP and Hyperion consolidation system;
  • Qualified.
